Les England - Operations Manager
Les joined Owens Communications in January of 2007. Les brings with him over 30 years of experience in the public safety field. Les most recently served as the Director, Bartholomew County Emergency Operations Center in Columbus, Indiana. Les was responsible for the implementation and operation of a consolidated E911 center and served as the Director for over six years. |

Shari Niemoeller - Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
Shari has all accounts receivable and payable responsibilities along with other daily financial and bookkeeping duties. She also provides inside customer support. |

Eddie Sams - Inside Sales/Customer Service
Eddie provides inside sales and customer support. He is also responsible for all order processing and receiving. Eddie's knowledge of products and customers makes him a valuable asset to OCI and its customers. |

Dave Harris - Technician
Dave was OCI’s first employee. He started with OCI in April of 1995. Dave has almost 30 years of experience in the 2-way radio industry. Dave is involved with the design, implementation, and repair of 2-way radio products and systems. In addition to Dave's experience and expertise, he has attained his Certified Electronics Technician (CET) certification. |

Wayne Creasey - Technician ON MILITARY LEAVE
Wayne joined OCI in August of 2004. Wayne brings many years of industry experience to OCI. Wayne’s primary responsibility is to provide project management and leadership to OCI’s service group. Wayne has received his Certified Electronics Technician (CET) certification. |

Kevin Moore
- Technician
Kevin came to Owens Communications from Motorola in Indianapolis where he had been employed for 20 years as a Senior Service Technician. Kevin has experience in the State of Indiana 800 MHz Smart Zone System, Centracom Gold Consoles, which he installed and maintained. He is very knowledgeable in setting up templates and programming mobiles and portables also used in conjunction with the above equipment |

Mike Stringer - Technician
Mike has been with Owens Communications since 2000. He is instrumental in handling and maintaining our service contracts for customers such as the Indiana State Police, INDOT, and Vectren. |

Travis Edwards - Technician
Travis started in the communications industry in 1996 with the US Army working on GTE mobile subscriber equipment. After 5 years in the Army, Travis was contracted by a management company to perform LMR maintenance for a nuclear missile facility. While at Malmstrom AFB, he was responsible for the maintenance of a Motorola 6.X trunking system and associated subscriber units. Travis was also responsible for the maintenance of ground to air radio and automated weather systems. |

Shawn Shafer - Technician/Installation Manager
Shawn came to Owens Communications from the Indiana Department of Natural Resources where he had been employed for 15 years. Shawn brings with him a vast knowledge and expertise in maintaining and the installation of public safety equipment in various types of vehicles. |

Brad Latimer – Sales Manager
Brad joined Owens Communications full time in December 2006 upon his retirement from the Columbus Police Department after 20 years of service. Brad served as Chief of Police for 5 years. He also held the positions of Deputy Chief, Shift Commander, Detective, Training Officer, and was a member of the Department’s S.W.A.T. team. During his tenure as Police Chief, Brad implemented an 800 MHZ trunked radio system, a mobile data communication system, and in-car video. Brad is also a veteran of the U.S. Army Military Police Corps. Brad’s primary role for OCI is serving public safety & federal government customers. |

Rick Bright - Sales Specialist
Rick joined OCI in January of 2000. Rick began his career with the cellular division and was instrumental in the early success and growth of this division. Rick now is part of the 2-way sales team and concentrates his efforts in OCI’s southern territory. |

Curt Beverage - Sales Specialist
Curt joined OCI in Jan 2008 after 21 years of service with the Columbus Police Department. He retired from CPD as Deputy Chief and held several other positions during his career including Field Training Officer, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Narcotics Division Supervisor, SWAT Team Leader, and Uniform Division Captain. Curt is also a 4-year veteran of the U. S. Army. Curt is a sales specialist for Jackson, Jennings, Jefferson, Decatur, Washington, Scott, and Ripley counties. |

Shane Hanna - Sales Specialist
Shane joined the OCI team in November of 2007, with over 10 years of prior wireless telecommunications experience. He is a graduate of Indiana University, and holds a lifetime FCC General Radiotelephone Operator’s License, and has been designated as a Master of Communications Technology by National Radio Examiners in 2003. Shane’s focus at OCI is in the broadband data, and technology dependent products, as well as the traditional two-way radio products. He is a resource in both product knowledge, and technical issues.
Shane is an active volunteer FF/EMT and Haz-Mat Technician and has been active in the emergency services for over 18 years. |

Sam Carpenter - Sales Specialist
Sam first joined OCI in 2000. Sam has been in the electronic service business for 27 years. He has his FCC General Radiotelephone Operators License and Advanced Class Amateur Radio License. He also has experience as a general electronics, radio, and system technician. Sam's technical background is a great advantage to all of his customers as he provides both excellent customer service as well as technical knowledge. |

Bob Jarrard – Sales Specialist
Bob joined Owens Communication in April of 2007 after nearly 21 years with the Columbus Police Department. Bob's career included assignments as a patrolman, detective, and was a supervisor in the detective division for the last 10 years, ending as the Captain over investigations. Bob was a member of the department's SWAT team and a field training officer. Previously, Bob was a patrolman with the Indiana University Police Department in Bloomington. |

Rick Fach Inside Sales/Lighting Expert/Technician
Rick joined Owens Communications' Jeffersonville location in June 2007. Rick has over 30 years of two-way radio repair experience, as well as a vast knowledge of vehicle lighting.
He has been an instructor in electronics and owned his own electronics business for over 20 years. Rick brings many years of experience and expertise to our organization and provides excellent customer service to all of our customers. |

John came to the OCI Jeffersonville location in June 2007 from Line-X where he handled the day to day installation of vehicle accessories. John has over 4 years of vehicle installation experience. Nancy Peters -
Administrative Assistant/Accounts Receivable/Customer Support
Nancy came to Owens Communications in May of 2007 from Caesars Indiana where she was the Admin. Assist. to the Director of Security. She provides inside customer support as well as accounts receivable and many other duties. |

Frank Butler -Delivery Specialist
Frank joined Owens Communications in August 2007. He was a former Sgt. in the United States Marine Corp, and retired from the Columbus Police Department after 26 years of public service where he was the Chief Of Police. Frank's main responsibilities at OCI are delivering and picking up radios and equipment for customers. His experience in being involved in the community and working with people provides an excellent service and convenience to our customers. |

Malcom Dobson - Installation/Technician
Malcolm joined OCI in April 2007. He is an installer of two-way radio and public safety lighting equipment. Malcolm brings with him over 15 years of vehicle maintenance and equipment installation. His ability to fabricate brackets and complete thorough installations make him a valuable asset to the OCI team. |

Eric joined Owens Communications in February 2008. He has over 20 years of land mobile radio experience. Eric is CET certified and holds an FCC General Radio Telephone License. He has attended numerous Motorola Technical courses and will be responsible for the design, repair, installation, and maintenance of wireless communication systems.
Eric's experience and expertise with Motorola products makes him an excellent resource for our customers.
